Help welcome and support incoming students as an Alumni ���������ϲ����� Ambassador. You will be connected to accepted students and you can share your love of Elon and help their transition to being on campus be a smooth one. Participants must have graduated within the last 5 years. Read more >>

Alumni 360 allows alumni to share their feedback and input to shape the alumni experience for years to follow. All members will complete three brief surveys per year on topics such as Homecoming, alumni communications and future alumni initiatives.

This program gets alumni involved in annual giving campaigns on a consistent basis during the fiscal year. Agents advocate for alumni to be partners, advocates and most importantly investors. These volunteers are committed to helping Elon reach alumni giving participation goals. They will make a personal financial commitment and contact peers in an effort to secure at least 10 donors to Elon each fiscal year. This effort is focused on three annual “sprint outreach periods” including Elon luminaries at calendar year-end, Elon Day and fiscal year-end. Read more about the program here.

Champions play a critical role in Elon Day’s success by making an Elon Day gift, getting non-donor alumni friends to make a gift on Elon Day and sharing on social media networks to spread the word about challenge gifts and other exciting Elon Day activities.

Elon Alumni Board

Appointed by ���������ϲ�����’s president, the Elon Alumni Board engages with the Office of Alumni Engagement and other senior administrators to represent the alumni body to the university on a range of important issues. The board is also organized into several committees that partner with staff to make recommendations concerning alumni programs, benefits and services. Members of the board exemplify what it means to be an Elon partner, advocate and investor.

Young Alumni Council

�����Dz�’s Young Alumni Council (YAC) seeks to strengthen connections between young alumni and the university. Established in 2007, the YAC works in conjunction with the Office of Alumni Engagement and university on programs and services for young alums and current students.

Phoenix Club Advisory Board

The Phoenix Club Advisory Board was established to assist the Phoenix Club in reaching its strategic fundraising goals. Advisory Board members are charged with identifying, cultivating and soliciting individuals to help the athletic department reach our desired goals. These members serve a key function in the annual fund drive and provide financial leadership support to the Elon athletic department.

Through the common bond of Elon, affinity networks allow alumni to connect with individuals of similar cohort identities, passions and shared experiences. The networks major areas of focus include opportunities for networking, mentorship and financial support. Each network is supported by the Office of Alumni Engagement staff, but led by alumni. Alumni chapter volunteers

�����Dz�’s regional alumni chapters are run by alumni volunteers who help keep fellow graduates in their communities connected with the university. In partnership with the Office of Alumni Engagement, chapters host a variety of events including networking, professional development and community service. During special university events such as Elon Day, chapters play an important role in uniting the alumni network around a common cause.

Class reunion volunteers are crucial in the planning and success of the milestone reunion weekend. Reunion volunteers advise Elon on event planning and communication strategies. Volunteers also personally contact members of their class to encourage attendance at Homecoming & Reunion Weekend and participation in their class reunion giving efforts.

Numen Lumen: Senior Baccalaureate Saplings

We are looking for local alumni to participate in the important tradition of handing out saplings to our next graduating class during Numen Lumen: Senior Baccalaureate located Under the Oaks. Volunteer duties include greeting students at the event, handing out programs, lighting candles and handing out saplings to the senior class. First Mail Campaign

Write a welcome note to the newest members of the Elon community! Through the First Mail Campaign, you can send us a note to write onto a postcard which will be the first piece of mail the Class of 2028 find in their mailbox when they move onto campus. Share a memory, some words of wisdom or a message of welcome!

This program provides a simple and rewarding way to assist with enhancing the Elon alumni experience online. Once a month, ambassadors receive an email with suggested social media posts containing Elon news, accomplishments and stories. Throughout the year, ambassadors play an important role in major events such as Homecoming, Festival of Holiday Lights, Elon Day and more!
