WE Talk: Disrupting Norms - Women’s Basketball Case Study

WE (Women of Elon) Talk is a new virtual discussion series lead by women for women. For our inaugural episode, join Erica L. Ayala ’08 and Shelby McKay ’13 for a deep dive into ways women are being disrupters in business using women’s basketball as a case study. They will look at how mega deals (ally/Gatorade) are changing the landscape by stepping away from focusing on men, former players rising in the coaching and executive ranks, the rise of self-advocacy, specifically for Black women in the space, and what additional opportunities arise with NIL. Come prepared to join in the conversation and learn from two industry professionals with an insider’s view. Volunteer at Numen Lumen: Senior Baccalaureate

We are looking for local alumni to participate in the important tradition of handing out oak saplings to the graduating class during Numen Lumen: Senior Baccalaureate on Tuesday, May 21, from 6:45 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Volunteer duties include greeting students at the event, handing out programs, lighting candles and handing out saplings to the senior class. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the form below by Friday, May 10.
