Volunteer
If interested in participating in our community through service opportunities, there are several organizations that serve our local community in significant ways. The Kernodle Center for Civic Life engages students, faculty, staff and community partners in service that benefits the university and its surrounding community. Among the programs it offers is the聽Campus Kitchen at Elon, an on-site service opportunity in which volunteers package leftover food in university dining halls and deliver them to those in need in the Burlington community.
Just a short drive from campus,聽 is a common volunteer stop for Elon students and community members. It serves the county鈥檚 homeless through its emergency shelter, kitchen and resource center, and volunteers are always welcome.
Focused on meeting needs related to education, employment and health, the is a non-profit that connects volunteers with partner organizations.
